This part is so true. I still remember my very first competition. I, like many others paid a professional to do both my hair and make-up. Blessings to Jenny Karl as I truly feel she made me look the best I have ever looked, or at least that is the way I felt and it showed.

This is my friend and client Lana. We have “known” each other from Facebook for years but had never met. Well finally this past weekend we got to meet and I was Blessed enough to for her to allow me to be a part of her Journey to getting her Pro card. This is her before picture.

Lana is a beautiful woman without make-up, but I think she was happy with the transformation to stage ready. It’s such a joy to be a part of a special moment in someone’s life.

“I really wanted to give a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to some great people- Mark Douglas, Stacy Laymon, and Amy Gaskins for an INCREDIBLE rescue! My hair and makeup artist caught Covid and called me the afternoon before my show with the regret of cancelling! I literally held back tears, but knew I could call my beautiful friend Stacy who immediately dropped everything to get me an appointment. Stacy was out of state on travel and rang up Mark Douglas who booked me right away for that morning! I called the makeup up artist for the show, Amy, and she squeezed me in! It literally took a village and I'm forever grateful for each of you! You nailed my hair and makeup just perfect for a pro look on stage! Thank you isn't enough but it's a start so THANK YOU for helping me on a very special day! Forever grateful”
